Feb 19th

IMP 100
On Monday we will have a quiz on conversions. We've had a few worksheets as homework to cover this idea. Yesterday I assigned a worksheet on solving equations with some conversion review. Prior to that we did a calculator activity called the "longest ship canals" and another worksheet called convert.

IMP 200
We've had the following homework assignments: "cake eating frenzy," "Car depreciation," and "Dice."

Geometry
We will have a test next class. 4.5 page 227 1-19, 4.6 Worksheet, 4.7 p 237 1-10, and 4.8 p243 1-10

Experimental Math
We have completed and assessed the Beanbag Lab and the Estimating and Measuring Lab. We are working on learning about the basics of motion.

Febuary 8th

IMP 100:
Last week was the first week of a new semester and so we've begun a new unit on conversions. There were two assignments last week "Funny looking ones" and a conversion table.
This week we will have another assignment on conversions focusing on setting up equivalences and simplifying expressions involving fractions.

IMP 200:
Last week we started a unit on exponential growth and decay, using the example of Alice's height from Alice and Wonderland. So far there have been two assignments: "Alice in Wonderland" and HW 1 "Graphing Alice."

Geometry 200:
Chapter 4.3, 1-18 on page 216

Statistics:
CO2 Linear Regression

Experimental Math:
We started a beanbag lab focusing on percent error and hypothesis writing.
